Lion feet have existed in Danish homes for more than 400 years. As finish on chair legs, as (closing) devices on settles, chests and on silver tea makers and writing sets made of faience and china. In the European collections of the Danish Museum of Art & Design there are several examples of lion feet. Remember to see the lavish study collection on the first floor.
